Javier García Martín obtained the B.S. in Computer Science from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2000 and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2016. He is associate professor of Computer Architecture and Technology. Currently, he carries out his researcher with the System and Software Technology Research Group (SYST), where participates in national and international projects. His research focuses on Real-Time Systems and Internet of Things (IoT). Additionally, he works on issues related to designing classroom activities and evaluating students’ learning on PBL. He is a member of DMAE-DIA educative innovation group that works on the development of new methodologies for Learning/Evaluation. The DMAE-DIA group received several educative innovation awards from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He is author and co-author of a significant number of papers related to teaching in Engineering Education.
