Descripción

He obtained his degree as a Technical Telecommunication Engineer in 2011, his MSc in Systems and Services Engineering for the Information Society in 2012, and his PhD in 2017, all from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Since 2016, he has been a member of the Department of Telematics and Electronic Engineering (DTE) at the School of Telecommunications Systems and Engineering (ETSIST-UPM), where he has served as Associate Professor since 2022. He joined the Electronic and Microelectronic Design Group in 2011 and has been a member of CITSEM since its foundation in 2021.

His research interests include the development of multimodal imaging devices at both microscopic and macroscopic scales, as well as the design of processing algorithms, including (but not limited to) Deep Learning-based models. These are applied to challenges in healthcare, aquaculture digitalization, and ethology.
